Angie has more than 12 years of experience in the design and management of academic, applied and strategic research. She has an academic background in political sociology and experience working in multi-disciplinary settings and across complex analytic frameworks.
Her research expertise has been developed in a range of professional roles and social policy environments, and she has a particular capacity for exploring the intersections of social issues. She has translated research findings for a variety of audiences, including academics, not-for-profit organisations, government, students and individual advocates.
Angie began her research career as an academic at the University of Adelaide. Her deep interest in social policy, its conceptual development, and its effects, has led her to work in a variety of academic research settings, in policy and advocacy in the not-for-profit sector, and most recently in supporting organisations in the implementation and evaluation of their social policy initiatives with Rapid Context.
At Rapid Context Angie delivers high impact work on complex and sensitive topics for a range of private and public sector clients.
