Growing the Defence Industry Workforce: Attracting and retaining women with critical skills and trades.

The Australian Government's recent investment of $200 billion in defence capability over the next decade offers significant opportunities for the defence industry and will require substantial workforce growth to deliver Australia's security needs. If defence industry is to meet the projected growth in demand for skilled workers, it must become an employer of choice for all segments of the workforce. This means finding new ways to attract and, just as importantly, retain women with critical skills.

Facilitated by Dr Samantha Crompvoets, the panel will discuss challenges and opportunities for defence industry organisations as they prepare their workforce to take advantage of these growth opportunities, to innovate, and to meet Australia's defence capability requirements.

This event will be of interest to those in the Defence and Security sector, Defence Industry & Diversity and Inclusion specialists.

Light refreshments will be available.
